A Place of Healing
The June Hawk-Franklin Garden of Meditation and Healing, located on the grounds of the Cancer Resource Centre, is a beautiful place where cancer patients and their loved ones can find peace, solitude and serenity.
Among the shady oak and graceful birch trees, waterfalls empty into calming ponds. A brick path winds past white pine, hemlock, willow, fragrant hydrangeas and medicinal plants. Here, patients can tap into all their senses and experience the healing qualities of nature.
If you would like to honor or remember a loved one, dedication bricks are available for purchase and are placed in the garden twice a year.
